As part of our sponsorship of the Thames Valley Tech Awards, CI was invited to a roundtable discussion at the Madejski Stadium on 8th February 2018. Here, along with previous winners, others sponsors and leading tech companies in the Thames Valley, we pondered some of the big (and not so big) questions facing businesses today…

The key topics for consideration were the complexities ahead as the work/life revolution continues, and the discussion ranged from what makes our business special and the challenges we all face, before we moved onto disruptive forces, engaging with millennials – and we finished with whether we thought we’d ever retire.

The key soundbite from our rep – LJ Franklin - was ‘I doubt I’ll ever completely stop working; I love my job. The thought of not working fills me with horror!’ [Please note, she wasn’t paid to say that!], whilst the most memorable (and slightly incongruous) verbal image was of Westcoast’s Alex Tatham saying ‘I’m like a cheetah!’
