Our ESG activity supports four groups: our people, our community, our customers and our planet, with actions that can be measured and evidenced.
Despite selling more products in 2022 to 2023, we achieved a 3% reduction in Scope 3 emissions. We have also reduced electricity emissions by choosing a utility provider with a net-zero solution.
We have introduced a salary-sacrifice EV scheme and reduced fleet emissions by reevaluating vehicle use, investing in EVs, and improving energy efficiency at the head office.
We maximise the use of existing resources through circular materials, reusing waste, and extending the life of machinery and equipment.
Our people
We support wellbeing and work-life balance through flexible working, hybrid options, added leave, two wellbeing days and a CSR volunteering day. We also provide employee benefits, including private medical cover and access to wellbeing support.
Our community
We support charities and community programmes through sponsorship, fundraising and staff involvement. Activities include organised events and company-wide fundraising, alongside a staff lottery where half of the proceeds go to a charity chosen by the winner. In Wales, we commit 0.25% of revenue from all sales to Welsh public sector initiatives, funding outreach, skills and wellbeing-focused activity.
We help customers build social value into delivery through practical contributions such as equipment donations, career advice and volunteering time on local projects.
We support and apply the UN Global Compact principles through policy-led controls that cover human rights, labour standards, environmental responsibility, anti-corruption, including anti-slavery and ethical trading, equality and diversity, supplier conduct, child protection, and bribery controls.
Our IT asset disposition work supports data security, regulatory compliance and environmental responsibility through a chain of custody and asset tracking, alongside reuse and responsible end-of-life processing. These practices reduce carbon and raw material demand and help keep toxic waste out of landfills.
We also support SunScreenIT by ceding profit from our asset management activity to help provide sustainable IT solutions for developing nations and social causes in the UK.
