Health and Emergency Services

Reliable, secure technology delivery where every second matters.
Health and Emergency

Value Statement

Trusted where operational performance and assurance are inseparable.

Health and blue light teams operate under constant pressure. Demand rises, budgets tighten, and the need to protect sensitive data never reduces. Technology has to support frontline work and critical operations without adding friction.
We help NHS and emergency services modernise safely through end-user devices, infrastructure, communications, security, and hands-on delivery that works in real environments.

In health and emergency services, the margin for disruption is small. Devices and systems need to be dependable, supportable, and aligned to governance and audit expectations. Whether the priority is bedside care, dispatch efficiency, secure connectivity, or workforce mobility, outcomes depend on delivery quality as much as the technology itself.

Centerprise supports NHS Trusts and blue light organisations with scalable solutions that keep performance and compliance in step. From mobile devices used at the point of need to major infrastructure refresh programmes, our focus stays practical: clear planning, repeatable build and configuration, secure logistics, and reporting that helps teams stay in control.

We also understand the reality of data governance in these environments. Patient and operational data must remain protected, and solutions must align with data legislation and industry standards. Our approach is designed to maintain confidentiality and reduce risk through documented, well-governed delivery.

Government Lifecycle

Lifecycle services and responsible asset retirement

Secure, documented device retirement routes that reduce data risk and support sustainability goals through reuse, redeployment, remarketing, or recycling where appropriate.

Organisations we support

Aligned to the way health and blue light services operate

NHS organisations, police forces, fire and rescue services, and ambulance trusts face different operational pressures. Our approach stays consistent: delivery that is secure, evidence led, and designed to perform in live environments.

Health NHS

NHS

Technology that supports patient care, productivity, and data assurance

NHS teams are expected to improve outcomes and patient experience while managing funding constraints and rising demand. Technology should enable clinical care and operational improvement, from mobile devices supporting bedside workflows to infrastructure programmes across multiple premises.

What this looks like in practice

  • Scalable device supply and deployment to support clinical and corporate teams

  • Practical logistics and call-off models to keep equipment available without tying up internal storage

  • Solutions designed with confidentiality and GDPR aligned controls in mind

Police

Mobile capability that reduces admin burden and supports visibility in the community

Police forces need secure, reliable mobile technology that supports officers in the field, reduces time spent on administration, and performs across varied conditions.
We support rugged mobility and deployment approaches that keep devices dependable and serviceable, with options for vehicle integration and accessories designed for operational use.

What this look like in practice

  • Rugged tablets and mobile devices suited to frontline demands

  • Vehicle integration options that support safe mounting and rapid access

  • Deployment support that helps forces standardise configurations across teams

Public Sector Fire and Rescue

Fire and Rescue

Frontline solutions built for extreme conditions and rapid access to information

Fire and rescue teams need technology that remains reliable in demanding environments and supports access to time-critical information at the scene.

We support large-scale programmes that replace legacy devices with rugged solutions suited to emergency response, including dockable tablets capable of handling image-heavy mapping and risk-assessment data.

What this look like in practice

  • Rugged device selection supported by structured evaluation and pilot deployment

  • Installation and project management that aligns with operational schedules and maintenance windows

  • Secure imaging and configuration support to reduce internal workload

Ambulance

Mobile readiness and reliable access to data across teams and locations

Ambulance services depend on fast, accurate access to information and systems across shifts, vehicles, and sites.
We support rugged mobility and deployment models that keep devices operational and consistent, with configuration and rollout approaches that can scale across a distributed footprint.

What this look like in practice

  • Rugged device options suited to frontline response and vehicle-based working

  • Standardised builds and configurations to reduce variability and support overhead

  • Practical deployment planning that fits live service constraints

Organisations we support

Built to deliver programmes, not just supply products

Health and emergency services delivery often fails in the gaps: inconsistent configuration, unclear rollout plans, weak reporting, and limited deployment capacity. Our delivery model is designed to close those gaps through repeatable processes, scalable build and configuration capability, and practical logistics support.

Case Studies

Proven delivery across health and emergency services

BCUHB

NHS

Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board

Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board issued a tender via the National Procurement Service, with specific requirements for desktop hardware and deployment services. Centerprise proposed a comprehensive range of primarily Lenovo equipment, including Lenovo M700 Tiny and ThinkPad L460 devices, monitors and stands, docking stations, printers, and accessories.
Delivery was supported through a bonded storage model, with equipment held securely in Centerprise’s Caerphilly facilities and available for flexible call off in line with an irregular rollout schedule, including next-day delivery when required.
The approach reduced internal storage pressure, simplified repeat ordering, and delivered reported savings of around 25% across the project, supported by local service coverage and warranty support arrangements.

Norgine

Health

Norgine

Following the outbreak of COVID-19, Norgine needed a faster, safer way to screen staff entering the site without losing production time during shift changeovers.
After trialling a demo system installed by Centerprise, Norgine implemented thermal imaging technology across three entry points.
The solution enabled automated temperature checking with a pre-recorded message for exceptions, reduced queues, improved staff comfort, and removed the need to allocate employees to manual checks.
Norgine reported recovery of approximately 30% of the losses associated with staggering shift changeovers, and the two organisations continued to collaborate on additional monitoring solutions to support site safety.
