Role Description

Main duties of the role

  • Receipt of customer PO’s, verify all information is present, correct errors with stakeholders and ensure relevant margins are met
  • Processing a high volume of orders to a 98% minimum accuracy
  • Part code creation using our internal CI PO system following the company’s product hierarchy
  • Liaison with all relevant stakeholders to ensure customer SLA’s are met/exceeded
  • Checking of company inventory to determine availability of requested products/services
  • Raising purchase requisitions and/or advising stakeholders to purchase stock
  • Completing a second check on colleagues work with a high degree of attention to detail
  • Ensure records are kept/filed in accordance with company procedures
  • Raising internal RMA/Credits on customer accounts and associated procedures when requested
  • Creation of customer quotations using our internal CISOS system on request, ensuring competitive pricing and lead times. Management of your quotes within CISOS to ensure they are updated with correct status.
  • Raising manual invoices using our internal CI PO system with a high degree of accuracy & recording against the relevant sales orders.
  • Timely response to emails from a department in-box & resolution of queries to ensure SLA’s are met
  • Create & maintain department Work Instructions to ISO standards
  • Any other tasks as deemed appropriate by the business

Experience and Skills

Essential

  • • Demonstrable experience of working within a sales support function in a medium to large enterprise • Good working knowledge of an ERP system • Good understanding of sales operations and governance • High level of organization skills • Excellent command of the English language both written and oral

Desirable

  • • Knowledge of the UK public sector procurement process • Experience of the ICT sector • Experience of working ICT Vendors • Good knowledge of ISO accreditations such as ISO 90001, 14001 and ISO 27001
