(October 14th, 2020- Basingstoke, Hampshire, UK) Centerprise is proud to announce their role- as Headline Community Partner- with Dragons Rugby. Centerprise’s community sponsorship aims to tap into the Dragon’s well-established community work to provide a tailored outreach programme designed to further enhance the Dragon’s reach and impact on the communities across South East Wales.

The outreach programme will use trained staff to increase positive opportunities for those less fortunate or vulnerable within the community. In collaboration with key local agencies, the programme will deliver 30 early-intervention workshops and sessions aimed at supporting a minimum of 500 individuals with learning a new skill or interest that inspires them to make a positive life change.

Additionally, the programme will recognise the hard work of school pupils in the region through an initiative that will identify and reward pupil dedication and success through attendance at a Dragon’s home fixture. Through this initiative, a minimum of 750 pupils from 45 different primary and secondary schools will experience a match day at Rodney Parade.

“Centerprise is committed to giving something back to the communities within which we work,” said Jeremy Nash, CEO, Centerprise International. He continued, “Through this great partnership, we can deliver on our intent to have a positive impact on the lives of those less fortunate. The Dragon’s work in the community is impressively heart-warming and I am pleased we are able to work alongside them to facilitate change on a local level. It is my hope this is the beginning of a lengthy and rewarding relationship.”

Dragons Community Manager, Mike Sage, said: “We are delighted to have teamed up with Centerprise International, who become our ‘Headline Community Partner’. This partnership is a perfect match, as Centerprise share our enthusiasm and ethos to drive change and positive outcomes in the community.
