The successful candidate will become a key player in the Rugged Sales Team based in Basingstoke. They will become the core contact for Panasonic not just within the distribution team but the wider business. They will be responsible for making sure the sales team are fully aware of new products, promotions and training as well as working with the Rugged Business Manager on managing stock. The role whilst based internally may have some external aspect to it by attending shows and external meetings with customers and vendors. It is our expectation that the person will also have an interest in sales account management as they will look after a number of reseller accounts and seek new business opportunities in targeted verticals therefore will also carry a sales revenue and profit target.
The candidate will be responsible for the following core duties:
Working closely with our sales team to make sure they are fully trained on all products.
Help drive the Panasonic brand both internally with the sales team and externally by working with our marketing team.
Working with the sales support person to provide backorder reports to help the sales account managers update their customers.
Look after a number of reseller accounts whilst seeking new resellers in targeted verticals.
To meet/exceed sales targets.
Provide monthly sales out reports to Panasonic.
Keep the internal Panasonic pipeline updated on your own and entire team’s opportunities.
Provide a monthly business report to the Sales Manager and Director for Distribution.
A quarterly business report will need to be completed to show proof of performance.
Be the main point of contact for Panasonic, working closely with the channel account manager at Panasonic. This will involve speaking daily on the telephone, email and weekly face-to-face meetings at the CI Offices
Work with the rugged business manager on managing stock levels, if stock is reaching 60 days then a plan of action is in place to help move before reaching 90 days.
Managing of demo stock, following guidelines to make sure all processes are followed.
